I had the pleasure of living in Cannaregio for a semester, and Dodo Caffè has to be my favorite cafe in Venice. Dodo, the owner, is an icon and local celebrity. He is so friendly and charismatic, always welcoming guests and making you feel at home. The drinks are second to none, and the cappuccino is life changing. Drinks weere good. I didn't eat there but I saw they use premade pizza though, possibly frozen.

We only went for drinks but the service and cheery attitude of the waiter makes me want to visit again!
Great choice for local seafood! Every dishes and wine are so fine, service is very hospitable.

This is a popular spot for the locals of Cannaregio, and I can see why. I can't recommend this hidden gem enough!
