What Brayan Corwin doesn't like about Chow Chow Don:
Two of us split the fried dumplings and General Tso's Chicken. The dumplings were large and very tasty. The General Tso's Chicken was also a large portion with a nice crust and very flavorful. It was a lot of food and we finished it all because it was so tasty. View all feedback.
Located behind Korean businesses and restaurants on Doraville Highway, this hidden gem is definitely worth seeking out. The food is top-notch, served quickly and piping hot with generous portions and delicious fresh snacks. The soup is particularly outstanding and the friendly wait staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. I will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area, and I highly recommend that you do the same.
We organized a Wednesday night dinner with fifteen people at this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the great service and the exceptional presentation and flavor of the food. We would definitely dine there again.
This restaurant recently underwent a bright and lovely renovation after years of dark, gloomy tables. I have been on the lookout for authentic Chinese cuisine, and it has been increasingly difficult to find since Cafe Q closed. Chef Jason, who is Chinese but grew up in Korea as the son of a nationally famous chef, puts a slight Korean twist on many dishes. He also enhances traditional non-Chinese Chinese dishes like sweet and sour pork and General Tso's Chicken. The traditional Szechuan dishes, such as shredded twice-cooked pork belly, are not overwhelmingly spicy but incredibly delicious. Even the sweet and sour chicken that my son ordered was exceptional - not the usual frozen nuggets, but rather crispy fried chicken with Chef's own tangy sauce on the side, filled with vegetables. I highly recommend asking for Chef Jason and letting him take care of your order. It's truly a wow-worthy experience.
We have gone to chow chow, since it first opened and continues regularly for meal in the house and we take away. eating is always excellent and the service warm and friendly. without doubt one of our favorite restaurants.
