Deja Vu Thorne - Doncaster

Called for an early lunch on Wednesday afternoon. It was very busy but luckily managed to get a table. This place is my favourite go to for breakfast or lunch. The guy is a chef… not a cook. The food he turns out… it’s fantastic. More like something you’d get in a fancy London restaurant not a little cafe in Thorne! We ordered quiche , bbq chicken toastie and chicken and leek pie and everything was perfect. All homemade, the chicken in the pie melted in the mouth. Best chips around and my quiche had a really tasty side salad with balsamic glaze. I keep saying I’m going to try a theme night here but haven’t got round to it yet, but it’s definitely something I need to try… the photos look amazing. The waitresses are always really friendly too… very clean establishment…. Best cafe in Yorkshire!!

Great selection of sandwiches etc for lunch. I had the toasted Cajun chicken club. Friendly and good quality food. My friend had the sausage sandwich which looked good too!

My absolute favourite for a breakfast date! Always a friendly face to greet you, very polite and attentive and outstanding food every time, lovely coffee and cold drinks menu as well as a specials board, something for everyone!

If you want a lovely plate of food whether for breakfast or for lunch then De Ja Vu is the place. The breakfasts may seem a little pricey however it is no greasy spoon. The meat is locally sourced.and you get plenty..The food is always fresh so fresh you often see the girls dashing out of the cafe to buy from the local groceries whatever is required for the order. Today my husband and I had the crispy belly pork sandwich with a lime mayonnaise dressing. The pork was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The triple cooked chips are something else too. If you are in Thorne, the place is perfect for a coffee or a cup of tea, a breakfast with family or a spot of lunch with your friends. Enjoy!

We were recommended this place by a local. The breakfast was superb. We will want to visit this place every time we are here! Highly recommend!
