What a wonderful surprise at my first visit to this beautiful city. Everything here was wonderful. Amazing welcome to teh staff; beautiful spacious and clean rooms; really delicious dinner and breakfast. No disadvantages. Have fun.

The restaurant offered and really delicious and varied menu in the evening and breakfast the next day was considerable and offers plenty of choice

What a surprise in Schwarzwald! We thought we would not escape from schnitzels and wursts but found this restauarnt and we were soooo lucky to taste lamb, tuna, light salad with horseradish, risotto with fish and great desserts. The prices are reasonable and the dishes just excellent! Each dish is just perfectly planned and thought over. Even the traditional Schwarzwalder Kirschtorte was served in a nice and original way. No boredom here! We were with kids and they also had menu for them and they loved it! The service is caring and fast. Everybody so polite and full of advice! Not to miss in Donaueschingen!

We enjoyed a dinner of white asparagus (Spargel , steak and dessert. The spargel came with a cream sauce that was just excellent. Being in Germany during this seasonal dish,we had many sauces and this was the best. The steak was a small thick fillet, perfectly cooked, and very tender. We appreciated the emphasis on quality rather than quantity. (The portions in many German restaurants are too large and we leave a lot of food. Very nice restaurant with white linen table clothes fresh flowers and candle. Would recommend it.

What a surprise in the black forest! we thought we would not carve and season away, but found this restaurant and had soou luck, lamb, thunfish, light salat with searettich, risotto with fish and great desserts to taste. the prices are reasonable and the courts simply excellent! every dish is simply perfectly planned and thought out. also the traditional black forests cirschtorte was nice and original served. not a long time here! we were with children and they also had a menu for them and they were thrilled! the service is caring and fast. all so polite and full of rats! not to miss in donaueschingen!
