Cruising around Dixon and stumbled at this little place on the river that had the biggest hot dogs! Well, they had a very complete menu, but I ordered the Chicago Style dogs. Went there at 1145am to get lunch and nobody was there. Sign said they should be open. Went there one other time and paid $15.00 for a beef sandwich and fries. I would 've been better off going somewhere else. The beef was tough and like the Wendy 's commercial said where 's the beef . View all feedback.
Ordered the Chicago deep dish. We get it maybe once a month. We come from Rock Falls to get it because it's pretty darn close to Gino's East. Unfortunately this time wasn't as good as everytime before. It was still okay but the crust wasn't all the way done and wasn't even thickness on all side. One was very thin and with barely and ingredients. The other side was like usual as far as ingredients but the crust still was not done. I will still keep going there because their food is almost always great. This is the only incident we've had. And we've had a lot of other stuff on their menu too!
Pulled pork was tasty, fries were crunchy, and the coleslaw was lighter than most I’ve had before. Service was quick too. Overall delicious and will come back when in the area!
Known these guys since they opened...what they've done to a hole in the wall, making it a successful biz w/ GREAT food (love their gyros, being a Chicago area native, never thought I'd find a gyro close to back there, I did! , prompt delivery, always hot...great pizza Italian beef too!
The 1/3 Burger with Pommes-Special is hands down the best meal deal around. The burger is well prepared, and capable of what you want is great. I go as much as I can, best Chicago restaurant in Dixon. 11/10
Love it the best tasting food that you won't go home hungry, an the price is right. The owners an the workers polite and friendly an aim to satisfy your taste buds , as well great location by the river front , good scenery and great food.
