We came across this restaurant by chance on our way back to Whitefish, and I have to say, their sourdough bread is the most amazing I've ever tasted. If you're in the area, you have to try it. I didn't sample any of their other baked goods, but I really wish I had! My husband tried the bison bone broth and agreed that it was the best broth he has ever had. View all feedback.

We have always enjoyed the road from missoula to dixon mercantile, but I think our youngest visit will be our last. the employee at the switch was in no mood to interact with customers. while I totally understand that we all have rough days, it was rude for any person who supported it (I included). we ordered cinnamon rolls, cookies and spelling nutella brownies. the brownies were delicious, but the cinnamon rolls and cookies were clearly baked. the cinnamon rolls were so dry that we throw a third away.
Healthy-lite and healthy-decadent choices well covered, offerings for carnivores and veg-heads alike, deliciousness abounds.
Absolutely delicious food! I ate the bison biscuits and was SO pleasantly surprised. I am originally from the south and the biscuits were the best I've EVER had! Highly recommend for the amazing food and the absolutely exceptional service.
Absolutely spectacular food in a unique, charming location. Worth the drive!
A must stop. They were super nice, great atmosphere in a neat old building and the food was so good. I love to find these local little hole in the wall treasures.
