The Tater Shack - Dickson

We went on Saturday, had to wait 30 minutes for a table of 4 but man was worth it! We drove from the chapel hill (about an hour), I got the dixie chicken with parmesan fries, and my wife had the maple bacon chicken sandwich, both were fantastic! It was a plus that they had beer as I didn't recognize it. Service was great because it was busy, never felt hurried for a second, the children loved the sweet potatories loaded with marshmallows, definitely recommend, and can not wait to go back, btw I rarely leave 5 stars, but this place is more than abhorrent.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time today. Service was accurate and fast despite the busy lunch time rush. Their Mac and cheese is immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and dipping ranch great. The garlic parm fries were delicious. My only complaint is the seating arrangement. It was a small metal chair. They need booths or comfy seat. It was kinda cramped. That's why it is not five stars. If you like Mac n cheese, you should go.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The burgers and salads are top-notch. I brought my wife here for the first time today (it was my fourth visit) and she was blown away by the delicious Mac n Cheese, burgers, and Pimento Cheese. I wholeheartedly agree. During this visit, we both enjoyed the classic burger with Pimento Cheese and fried green tomatoes upstairs. It was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this place to anyone in search of delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere.

Catherine was an exceptional waitress and the food was out of this world! Each bite transported me to another dimension where I felt like I was swimming in the ocean with pebbles, like a fish. When I returned to reality, I couldn't help but be moved to tears, as the experience was truly divine. If I could, I would want to be buried on her property.

The food is amazing. We had the buttermilk chicken channels that were crispy and fried for perfection. The Big Dill Burger is an experience not to miss! The garlic and dill sauce is delicious and the burger is filled with fried dill picks, red onions, bacon and Swiss cheese. Really extraordinary!
