We had an eventful experience at La Frontera after travelling from Buritaca in the rainy season, but even the lack of electricity and the river running through the restaurant didn't take away from the quality of the pizza they have to offer! Despite the catastrophic conditions the staff were helpful and good-spirited, the pizzas were delicious and fantastic val, especially considering the size (as far as I recall it... View all feedback.

I went to this pizza place on the recommendation of my hostel. I thought the pizza was pretty good, and the place was sweet. But I ordered a beer from the menu and when the bill came, they had twice charged me. We came to La Frontera 3 times during a 5 night stay in Palomino. Having been in South America for 3 months, we haven’t tried any pizza as delicious or authentic as this. Thin, crispy crusts, lots of toppings and such delicious flavour. Service is fantastic too. Would definitely recommend.
We read good reviews before going here, really true! The pizza’s were delicious with a nice thin bottom. They also serve great wine and the atmosphere/setting is great as well!
We had the ‘La frontera’ and the ‘Italomino’ pizzas and they were so good! Really recommend going to this place.
Ok here is the deal if you want to the dirt/moud floors and many flies also want a taste of everything you eat my Gawd this Thin Crust Pizza is heavenly delicious! I am often on the coast and was in Palomino many times, but this is my first visit to this restaurant and I will return. My pizza and beer came to 20,000 pesos so great. My Spanish is not very good, and in conversation with the hostel worker who had recommended it, she said that this has never happened to her. I would really be careful to go there if you don't speak Spanish as they try to overload you. I'm definitely not going back.
