What WellImMadNow doesn't like about The Whistle Stop Cafe:
Used to be the go to place for Ruben sandwiches. Two ruben meals used to be around 18$ and now it is 26-28$ not including any drinks. The down side being there is no meat on them anymore. It would be one thing if it had more, or even the same amount but the last 3 times I went I have been disappointed in the chewy meat low portion size of the meat and or getting skimped on the fries. A great American place. Great tender and soft steak sandwich, breakfast was satisfying and tasty. With a full stomach gone.
Had the living and onions. It was excellent. Always great service. It's worth getting out.

Friendly staff!! Amazing food! Moist roasted chicken, delicious potatoes and gravy, AND the best homemade cakes!!!!
My husband and I absolutely love this place! The owner always makes you feel at home while dining here. The employees are truly so kind and friendly. Best pies in town!
