Favourite coffee stop and best chai latte! Love to treat me here! Only one thing for management as a former service sector employee, please, find a way that your employees can be tipped differently than cash. I can't imagine how many tips they miss every day. They are hard working, friendly and fast they deserve it! View all feedback.
Very cute place, super friendly staff and nice drinks! I would definitely go there again and can also highly recommend that place!
Bearclaw coffee company is hands down the best coffee any where. The staff is always smiling and remembers orders of frequent customers. The location at the intersection of North Territorial and Dexter Pinckney is my favorite and I allow extra time when going that way to stop in and get a caffeine fix. They offer specialty coffees, mochas and lattes hot, over ice or blended with ice to name a few. And if you missed breakfast, getting everyone else out the door, they have pastries, donuts, breakfast cookies and bagels, to name a few. In my opinion the only place for coffee on the go! Great job Bearclaw staff you never disappoint!
I consider myself as an enthusiastic coffee drinker and was in many coffee houses (both large and small) throughout the area, and I can confidently say that Bearclaw serves my favorite espresso. The only real problem is that there are so few locations that I can't pamper all this often. I find my way to this particular place every other week or so, because it's literally in the middle of nowhere, and that's the only time I'm so out. Actually, that's not quite true, in the past I actually went out of my way to stop here simply because I believed a good Iced Latte, and as already said, her espresso is the best. If you are familiar with this place, then you know what I mean that it is in the middle of nowhere. It's not like fifty miles from the city in the middle of nowhere, but it's far enough to probably be considered a hidden gem of the kind. It is probably also a nice surprise for people who have no idea there is a coffee spot in the area. If you are not familiar with this place, the first thing you will probably notice is how small it is. It is probably the smallest coffee place with a double drive thru that you have ever seen. Yes, you read that right, this place has a double drive thru, which is great because I stopped from a few times where it is quite the line, and it moves super fast. You will also notice that because this place is at a corner, and the fact that the double drive thru is in opposite ways, it is a quite painless in and out every time. Staff here are super friendly, professional and fantastic what they do. I have never ordered a false or strange tasting (yes I know it's hard to screw up a Iced Latte, but you're surprised what I got from some other facilities). They are also incredibly efficient here, which also leads to very short waiting times. This place is also more affordable than your average coffee spot that confirms that the big guys are just price gouging you because they know they can get away. When everything is said and done, I really only have a complaint about this place, and it is not even so big of a deal. The roads here are dirty, and can be quite bumpy and unpredictable, depending on what kind of vehicle you are. This also varies according to how much rain/shot we had. It seems like they're trying to stay on it, but sometimes it's getting pretty washed out/bumpy and muddy. Unlike that, if you're in this way, then this place is 100% worth your time. Actually, even if you're not that out, it won't disappoint.
Don't let this little hut fool you. What is missing, I am square recordings that make it with taste and service. I drive every day at this point after work and have never seen them without waiting for a few cars in the line. You're just so good! Make sure to check your seasonal specialties on board next to the service windows!
Holy Moly... Frozen Chai after hiking 36 miles on the Waterloo-Pinckney Trail was absolutely AMAZING! I'll be back 100% if I'm in the area!
