I can't express how incredible this food is! I'm currently with a friend from Puerto Rico who now lives in Michigan, and I can't thank them enough for bringing us to this fantastic restaurant. What Thomas L doesn't like about Rincon Tropical:
Local place with lots of well locals. Always a good sign when going to a resturant. Not many Puerto Rican resturants in Detroit. Don Luis Mich Ave gone but awesome. Store front church on Michigan Ave gone but awesome. Ordered postelitios/empanadas with ground beef and cheese. Also arozz con gondules/rice pigeon peas. Place looked fantastic! loved the view thru floor from the top level. Drinks were at the top.
Great little hidden spot. Great beverage prices food is amazing very authentic. Very hospitabe staff

Great, authentic, food, and amazing people running the place.
Comfortable and clean. The door doesn't work for handicap and at times the elevator is down.
