Erstes Dessauer Kartoffelhaus

After the order we waited 56 minutes for our food. Food was served everywhere, including guests who came far later. When we asked, we answered that 50 minutes had passed. It can happen that something doesn't work, but a word of apology would have been at least, but nothing came.

The restaurant is very peculiar, with a very nice interior. The food is delicious and the service is very good

In most German cities you will find a Kartoffelküche where they make simple fares mostly of potato. It is usually a safe choice. The Kartoffelhaus in Dessau is one of plenty in that sense and we were pleased with the meals served. The organisation and...friendliness of the service has room for improvement though

After a diet of kebabs further north this was a welcome change. My meal was tasty and well presented. However the service was very slow. From sitting down to my food arriving was minutes. The servers were gruff
