Wellman's Pub Rooftop - Des Moines

This bar is so cool. I've always heard about Wellman's bar and barbecue, but unfortunately I've never been there. I wish I had gone earlier. It's such a good atmosphere. The drinks are also pretty sweet. I can't wait to go back.

I love this place! You have something from everything on the menu. But I can't get enough of the Tuna Poke Bowl. Sooooooo good! I order it every time I'm here. I have seen other foods that my friends order and they all look ruthless, but I can't deviate from my favorites!

We went to Wellman yesterday with a very large group, and our server, Melissa, was very patient and very funny. Nothing but the Kudos. I had the salad cases and they are always amazing.

Fun place with great food! The Tuna Poke Bowl was excellent! Absolutely back!

Pretty great food. I've been here twice so far during my visits to Iowa. Only 1 issue, but it's minor! The first visit, there were a lot of bees outside. After moving our table several times, we ended up taking our meal inside to avoid the yellow jackets who were buzzing around the tables. On our 2nd visit last week, we watched a staff member throwing soda from vacated tables into the fountain outside. Not sure, but there may be some correlation between the sugary drinks and the bees hanging out.
