Rico's At Drake - Des Moines

Their lemon pepper wings are incredible!! Also if your vegetarian their Cauliflower wings are very good! Will definitely be returning

Seating is very limited. In the winter tables are right by front door and you will freeze to death. Very noisy. Young men at bar were very loud and bartender was part of it. Will not be back.

Our party of three went to Rico's around 1PM on a Monday. Besides 3 people at the bar, we had the place to ourselves. Despite that, all the tables were filthy, it took over 5 minutes just to be acknowledged. This place is a massive echo chamber...goodluck having any conversation unless you yell. Food was decent. It's pretty typical quality bar food. I ordered an appetizerthat was never made. When asked when our food came out, they asked for a few more minutes (so they could make it). Overall, Ilike the idea and love to bring business to the Drake neighborhood but they really need help with staffing and work on somesound dampening. Food wasn't horrible, but nothing to go out of the way for. Solid 2 1/2 stars.

We came to town for a soccer tournament and looked up the best wings in town and found Rico?s. The reviews did not disappoint. We had 2 orders of 4 flavors. Spicy bbq, Cajun dry rub, traditional and Korean. Every flavor tasted great. The fries wereawesome too. The only disappointment was that we didn?t have room to try the catfish. Next time for sure. When you?re there, bepatient and enjoy yourself. It?s a small staff so don?t be in such a hurry. But do go. The food is outstanding.

Wing are bomb!!!!! Crab Rangoon are delicious!!!!! Mac and Cheese was perfect. I ordered delivery when I got my wings they were still hot and omg I had to stop myself cause I didn't wanna stop..sauce was on point 10 stars!!!
