Contribute FeedbackThe McDonald's on Beach Road in Derry is a popular and accessible drive-thru with ample parking. The recent renovation has left the restaurant clean and bright. Fast and efficient service is the norm, with friendly staff and consistently warm, fresh food. While other locations may occasionally forget items, this location has a stellar track record. The morning staff, especially a pleasant girl with an English accent, add to the positive experience. Despite occasional slower times during peak hours, overall, McDonald's on Beach Road is a shining example of what a McDonald's should be.
Call in every Wednesday for drive through service that is getting gradually worse. After paying for food I get served drinks and then I'm requested to go to a parking bay and wait for my food (not drive through) on Wed the 13th,. Feb I was requested to park in a disabled bay to wait for my food (not going to happen) I had to wait for a standard meal and watched 5 cars get served and pass by before my food arrived. May start going to Wheelers
McDonald's is the same everywhere but when the staff are very friendly and helpful it makes all the difference. Always quite busy but they move through the queues quite well.
Typical Mcds food was slowin arriving no relish on burgers and the place needed the floors swept. Most unlikely to be back.
Busy Saturday lunch time, meal was served quickly and politely, and very hot and tasty, and the coffee was well up to McDs usual standard.
