Crewe Harpur Derby

Visited on the Bank Holiday weekend and was served by Georgia, very cheery and attentive assistant manager. The saxophonist was a very pleasant unexpected treat on the outside patio. Food was good and the whole group had no complaints just full bellies! Sadly, there were a couple of usual vocal keyboard warriors looking for free meals by complaining with no real complaints to hold. Seems some come back to complain a second time … can’t really be that bad then! No complaints here and will be looking forward to our next visit

Food as you would expect from a pub chain, the real bonus this time of the year is the large garden with tables next to the Trent. Please don't go for a swim as the river here is very dangerous due to submerged rocks.

Food was perfect, delivered really quickly. Great service. Only small thing was benches outside-would be great to have time proper backed seating

Always a good spot to come too if you are wanting some quality food. Brilliant garden area as well, plenty of room to bring the dog and even if it rains the bar area is dog friendly. Definitely would come back again.

Poor service from the very beginning should have took that as a sign not to order food! Bar staff inattentive had to wait even though there was no queue. Food order placed starter arrived, no cutlery provided. We asked for som,e to be told we had to wait for the dishwasher to finish!!! Cutlery eventually arrived. Main meal arrived 3x hunters chicken and one Mac n cheese. Portion sizes were inadequate for the price paid. The hunters chicken was hard and very dry. Chips were very average. We did express our concerns to the so called manager, Danny I believe. He didn't even come to the table to address the issues! No apology at all! Diabolical experience! Yes there was a full refund issued but that might have been after they'd read my review. Yes some of the meals had been eaten, because we were very hungry. The manager that addressed the issues was rude, dismissive and barely gave an apology!
