After last night's dinner, we were very sad to di... read more After having been a happy Red Square Euro Bistro customer for many, many years, the honeymoon is now over..... After last night's dinner, we were very sad to discover that the food quality had gone way down and regrettably, so has the service. The quality of our meal was not even close to the quality usually served here. Further, we had to ask for bread, which only arrived when we were half-way through the meal. Not to be outdone, since the cook had provided very little sauce to go with our Red Square Beef Stroganoff (used to be our favorite meal here), we asked for more sauce. Imagine our surprise when we were charged an EXTRA for a small cup of sauce! All this was brought up to the waitress when it came time to pay the bill, yet no concessions were made, barely an apology. Regrettably, we are done recommending Red Square Bistro to friends and family..

Our server was excellent--attentive but not hovering, and the general atmosphere, especially the lighting and the deep red walls--were lovely.
