While some raved about the fabulous food and amazing service, others were left disappointed by the poor service that ruined their evening. Despite some delays in food delivery and non-attentive servers, the general consensus was that the food itself was excellent. Reviews praised the atmosphere, menu options, and standout dishes like the fig gorgonzola pizza. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer great food and ambiance but may need to work on improving the service aspect to ensure a consistently positive dining experience for all customers.
Server was fantastic. Food was below my expectation for the price-point.
It was a Monday night birthday celebration. I understand restaurants aren't always at their top on a Monday. However, I ordered the fresh pasta with mushrooms truffle oil. The truffle oil was not as present as it normally is. The pasta was not fresh. It was rotini and tasted like pasta I buy at the grocery store. My husband's mushroom pizza with truffle oil was the same. They were out of the chili oil they usually serve with pizza. (Food service strike? An explanation would've been helpful, since making chili oil seems fairly basic. Normally, we see a night at Osteria Marco as a treat. This night was a disappointment I could've made a better pasta dish for significantly less than the $27 I paid. I wish the waiter had told me they didn't have fresh pasta and I would've ordered something else. Very disappointing as this is our birthday celebration spot. May have to change that in the future. The bread pudding and chocolate desserts were amazing! Our waiter was kind and attentive.
We felt rushed the whole evening. When I'm paying that kind of money for food and drink, I expect to be able to sit and relax a little bit. But they were obviously trying to turn our table of nine around as soon as possible. That was disappointing. The food was pretty good but the experience with being so rushed was really disappointing.
Delicious Italian bistro cuisine served in a lively lower-level dining area. The server was extremely friendly and attentive. Portion sizes varied greatly depending on the dish chosen.
We were there for Sunday Drag Bingo Brunch. Food was great, lots of fun! Very noisy...but expected. We'll be back!
