Totally surprised to find this restaurant is NOT affiliated with Carmines in NYC! We asked when we were seated...and heard just about every other table ask the same question as they were seated. To be honest that was the draw when we made our reservations. The menu is similar, family style dinner-same as NYC. Food was good, service GREAT... but dang! Feeling deceived here! View all feedback.
What Guadalupe Buckridge doesn't like about Carmine's Mcgregor Square:
although eating was quite good, the service was not. No one came to our table for 20 minutes and it was an hour until the food was served. the dishes came out wrong and had to be sent back. the manager apologised and accused a court, but we will not return. View all feedback.
Great service, excellent food, def need your server to describe the entrees menu needs to define the choices. Also they only do family style would prefer to order individual meals, but all else great!
Dinner rolls are delicious! Great wine and the house specials were great! Good place for families and couples!
The food was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. All is served for 2 or family style. If you and your dinner partner are not on the same page food wise you might have just an okay experience. Needless to say, if it had been a single serving of the meal I would have ordered differently. The service was good and the ambiance was great if you have a view.
First time there, great food very professional staff led to a great dining experience, highly recommend this restaurant
Celebrated my husbands birthday! Was a fantastic evening!!
