Big Daddy's Pizza Denver(the Original)

Do not worry about ordering from here and go to another pizza shop that has a shredder of self-respect. the pizza was not better than a small ceasars or dominos. the first and last time I'll get some food from here. I really don't know how they stay in business with the terrible reviews I've read and out of my experience. ordered a bubba brot and a sausage, a bevel and mushroom pizza and they forgot the bevel and mushrooms. I heard the young talking about screwing up the job when they checked the ticket when I arrived. They didn't want to try to fix the pizza or compensate me for the chaos, but I paid the full price and gave them a decent tipp. I called after I came home to talk to someone, and the phone was not answered after 6 minutes, so I hung up and came here to leave a review. sad to see that a local pizza shop can not do the simple dinge to improve service and quality.

Couple of different things wrong with this place. First thing customer service sucks. I understand that there not the best neighborhood, but at least acknowledged your customers when they walk in. I stood at the counter for 22 and a half minutes before they even asked if I wanted to order. Second thing wrong with this place their cheese is awful, crust is super-thin I wasn't asked what type of crust first time here) did I mention their cheese is awful!!! I have no idea what kind of cheese they use, but it tasted weird and when it got cold it tasted even weirder and looked strange. I would never recommend this place whatsoever.

I got a coupon in the mail for a BOGO pizza offer from Big Daddy's. I went online to create an order and came up with a 14 pizza. The website says that a 14 plain pizza comes with marinara and mozzarella for $15.99. I added Italian Sausage 1.50), Garlic 1.50), Black Olive 1.50), Mushroom 1.50), Onion (no charge) for a total of $21.99......with tax, it was $23.75. I tried to enter my BOGO order online, and the web page would not allow me to make the BOGO order (first red flag). I thought, well that is unusual. I guess I will have to call it in.... I made the call and when they tallied up my phone order, they quoted me $27.99 (2nd red flag). I asked why the price was different than what I was quoted online and the guy on the phone (I think he said his name was Jason) couldn't give me an answer. After a couple of minutes of Himmin' and Hawin', he said he would need to speak with someone who was apparently in charge in the store (3rd red flag). He came back on in a few minutes and told me that he was going to have to transfer me to someone at the front desk (4th red flag). Well, after 13 minutes (final red flag), I was on to their bait-and-switch tactics and hung up the phone. I would not have had a problem paying the $27.99 for the pizzas but that's not the issue here. The website says $23.75. If you want to charge me $27.99, just have your website tell me that. In the meantime, Big Daddy's is a Big-Ripoff and they are not the only pizza joint in Denver. By the way, my son used to order pizza from here once in a while and I always found the pizza to be supremely mediocre!

The pizza is very average, it’s fine if you don’t need any specialty toppings or after a night or drinking. It took forever for them to deliver the pizza even though I live down the block. They forgot to give me the ranch and garlic butter that I paid for…Next time I will be ordering elsewhere.
