What david parry doesn't like about Tantay:
The food was tasty but the portion sizes were honestly kind of pathetic for the prices. Looking at some of the pictures others have posted on here, it looks like other people got much more reasonable portions. Maybe our server/cook didn't like us for some reason? Delicious ceviche. My only wish is that it had a bit more greens or sweet potato to balance out the flavor.
Best food I've had in the greater Lansing area. Period. Highly recommend the Pollo Saltado Lomo Saltado. Ingredients were fresh, seasoned to perfection, prepared served with precision, passion, and care. I am an omnivore -my only restriction being no lactose- and had a host of options to choose from, although there are many vegetarian options on the menu as well. Was fortunate enough to meet Jose and am impressed by everything he's put in to Tantay. Cannot wait for Tantay's full-sized restaurant location to open in Okemos. Looking forward to becoming a regular.
There aren’t many Peruvians or Peruvian restaurants in Michigan so this one is the best. It’s not cheap because of the quality of ingredientes and the complexity of the preparation.
