Local eateries are the best….just need a “local” to tell you where they are! Find Stratford Court Cafe and enjoy any meal (breakfast always my fav! . Friendly service, delicious food, fair pricing and they use @Toast, we love tech friendly places too! . A converted beach house, pleasant music and lovely outside seating! Go!!!

Love this place! The vibes are right and food is delicious, plenty of fresh air seating while surrounded by full grown pine trees and colorful garden. I like that you can refill your own coffee here with a varied selection of roasts.

A block from the main train in Del Mar is this peaceful jewel. You order at the counter and the fast staff will bring your delicious food to your shaded outdoor table. My wife's eggs were perfectly finished and my sandwich was filled with mature avocado. You can only see the Pacific Ocean, but the view of the sea is not so good. It seemed to be a lot of women who enjoy the day with their friends here. Parking on the street can be tight, so you can expect a block or two on foot. I'll be back soon.
