What Josue Mante likes about Village Grill - Village Hotel Chester St Davids:
Good food and service, we used a 50% off voucher which made the meal excellent value, not sure if that would be the case at full price. The new layout is more of a sports bar type area, less suited to the older generation such as us, but there was a quieter area towards the rear of the restaurant. Service was prompt and efficient. It was just ok, we thought it was much nicer when it was St. David's, we much preferred the nice restaurant before the refurb, it's nice if you just going for a drink View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant offers two menus on Sundays, but one stops at 3pm which was disappointing for some diners. The food quality was criticized by some, with dry meat, overcooked vegetables, and bland flavors. The lack of hot plates and unappealing sides were also mentioned. However, some positive reviews highlighted good value for money, delicious turkey dishes, and prompt service. The atmosphere was noted to be more like a sports bar after a recent refurbishment, which may not suit all customers. Overall, mixed reviews indicate a potentially inconsistent dining experience at this establishment.
