The Eagle And Steakhouse - Deadwood

I'd give Eaglev Bar and Steakhouse 7 stars if I could. The owners were both there. The waiter Joseph is the best waiter I ever had. He owned his own local restaurant and was recruited by the owners. The Pommes Frites were above all the Mayonnaise sauce excellent. They only carry a few wines and we drank a bottle of their Lodi, California Zinfidel Wine and took one from Australia to go. Joseph makes a special 100 proof mysteries. My wife drank two double shots. I had to order one for me! We're here for two more nights and we have to come back.

Definitely worth the stop, one place you can take kids. My parents celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary wanting to cut cost being a group of 17 we decided we would only eat out once on our 4 day vacay. With the help of Kim the Eagle Bar and steakhouse did not disappoint. We stopped in on Sunday Labor Day weekend. Our waiter Kim was amazing, fast, super friendly and entertaining! The burgers were good, the fried green beans were amazing!! My husband hates green beans but said he’d eat those any day. Tasted like they used fresh out of the garden green beans. the Long Island iced teas were strong. Really only down side was we had the tables with benches and they was uncomfortable but we also traveled 10hrs. My father wanted to speak to the manger to praise Kim but he was out. So if you see this, Kim was awesome and definitely made our dinner worth it.

One of the most delicious hamburgers I've ever had! I had the Reuben Burger I definitely recommend. My dad had the best rib sandwich. We are on a week trip and this is the best restaurant and burger so far. My sister had the macaroni and cheese and she loved it. The service is fantastic and I definitely recommend. If there was an evaluation of five stars, I would put the highest. Love!

If you're hungry, this is a place to be. The interiors could be improved. I don't if it a Deadwood thing, but service can take while.

We stopped here on Sunday night during dinner time, after being turned away from a few other restaurants in Deadwood due to low staffing and our group size of 10. The hostess warned us they might not have the workers to cover us, but the waitress said she could take us! It meant so much to my family to be seated and to be welcomed by the waitress and hostess. They showed how willing they were to serve us, which was a feeling since we were getting frustrated after searching for a place to eat for an hour. The food was good! Loved the handmade, crumbly burgers, but wish that both the burgers and fries were more seasoned. We had a good time here: Great place to grab a bite in Deadwood!
