What 2M 1 year ago on Google doesn't like about Oliv Epicurean Grill:
We had read that Oliv was voted Best Lunch ... whoever voted either had low standards or went to a different location. The restaurant decor was dark and sparse. The menu on the wall had all the prices covered up with stickers. There were 2 employees working; neither smiled or was personable while we were there. The food was ok. We asked for recommendations as it was our first visit but got no response. Prices were hi... View all feedback.
Oliv is a surprising oasis in the culinary hell that is the Daytona Beach area. Oliv is structured essentially like a Mediterranean Chipotle; the menu is short and served cafeteria style. You select various ingredients to be assembled into either a wrap, rice bowl, or salad. They have a couple of delicious lentil soups, an organic acai berry bowl, tabouli, Fattoush salad, Greek salad, and a Caprese salad. The beverage choices include bottled spring water, sodas, beer, wine, tea, and a fermented yogurt drink calld Liban Ayran. For dessert they have baklava and cheesecake; delicious and the portions are generous. The falafel is tasty, the hummus and baba ganoush are authentic tasting and delicious; the baba is correctly made with blackened charbroiled eggplant to give that authentic smoky flavor. The pita I had about 30 minutes before closing on a slow Sunday night was a bit dry. Most, if not all, of the ingredients are organic and non-GMO, virtually nonexistent in the greater Daytona area. Lots of fresh organic/non-GMO vegan choices here. The only negative is that their location is in Holly Hill (aka, Holy Hell a dumpy high crime area just north of Daytona. The restaurant itself is bright, clean, tastefully decorated with ample parking. The dining area is quite small, only seating a handful of tables, but it has never been full when I was there in late evening and there was never more than one party in line before me so service was quick. Prices are very reasonable, especially for this quality of food at the beach. The staff and owner are very friendly and service has been excellent the three times I have been there. Oliv is worth the 30 minute drive from my house considering the dearth of healthy eating choices in the Daytona Beach area.

Every time I go here, it's always perfect service, perfect eating the falafel dishes and packings are amazing the Acai bowls are delicious, but they don't have to ask for a honey, I would eat here all the time if I could afford it every day but the price is not too bad, that is if they're just a person they are not strictly vegan only vegan options and your carnivore will love it
This was an awesome option for an after the beach lunch. It was delicious and simple. My sister and I split a bowl and we were both filled up. 10/10 would recommend!!
I enjoy them because they deliver although the wait times vary on the driver. It can get expensive quickly with adding veggies which is a downside. But the food is always good! Definitely prefer fresh falafel. Hummus is out of this world!
