Denny's - Daytona Beach

The dining experience here can be quite inconsistent. The food is often overcooked. It would greatly improve the experience if the servers were more attentive during the ordering and delivery process, rather than being on their phones. I understand that the restaurant has a reputation for being slow, but they could certainly benefit from a more professional approach.

I love this location, the only bad thing was they were Short on Staff.. Great thing is I had Britney, she was hands-down the best server I’ve had in a while, I know she had to be overwhelmed because she had a bunch of tables but still made me feel like I was the only one! When I got my food I was displeased, because I wanted my eggs lightly cooked Britney said no problem she proceeded to wash her hands and got back in the kitchen and made my eggs exactly the way I wanted them and they were perfect

My boyfriend and I had breakfast there. Not only did we get one of the best servers ever, but the best omelets too! Both were beyond 5 stars. I even told the server that these were the most delicious omelets we had ever ordered anywhere. She let the cook know what I said. We are both senior citizens and travel often, but this was one of the best restaurants we had on our one month vacation. Who knew it would of come from a local Denny's!!

While browsing the menu, we stumbled upon a special: all-you-can-eat scrambled eggs, pancakes, and fries for just $6.99, with a $1.29 upcharge for breakfast meats. It was a fantastic deal, although we joked about the lack of toast—who doesn't want toast with pancakes? I have to compliment the cook; the eggs were fluffy and delicious, especially with American cheese, while my partner opted for cheddar. The pancakes were also light and fluffy, and the portions were generous. My partner enjoyed his meal so much that he had a second serving of eggs, but by the end, he was quite full and couldn’t finish both of his pancakes. Our waitress, Angela, was exceptional—not overly intrusive but attentive enough to ensure we had everything we needed, including refills on coffee. My partner generously tipped her, and she was so grateful, flashing a lovely smile and wishing us a great day. We will definitely return to this Denny's and hope to have Angela as our waitress again!

I had breakfast here for the last three mornings. Cameron was my server, and she did an excellent job—very energetic and friendly. She ensured that the women and children felt comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed! While the food wasn't the best, I returned for the service. You have a great team, and I encourage her to keep up the good work. I will definitely be back during our next holiday!
