What User doesn't like about Figlio Wood Fired Pizza:
I've been here and had the pizza and loved it. So when I looked at the menu online and saw pistachio chicken I was excited to head in and try it. It wasn't on the menu, but they had what is probably my all-time favorite dish, chicken picatta. It was edible but bland. The linguine tasted like tap water so to counter that I asked for lemons to counter it. The picatta sauce just tasted like butter. The dish could at min... View all feedback.
This is a hidden gem! The food is amazing! Layered flavors and well sized servings. We started with the bread with herbs and olive oil for dipping delicious! Then we shared Caesar salads. Crisp romaine and a lovely dressing with excellent anchovy and citrus flavors. Then we had walleye with ravioli and asparagus (amazing! and chicken picatta (also amazing! . We finished with a shared creme brulee. A great finish! They have a good selection of beer, wines and mixed drinks to round out an incredible meal. I highly recommend and plan to return when I'm next in town. And while we did not have one, the pizzas looked and smelled delicious!
Was Seated promptly. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was very good. But food came very quickly. No time for a drink and talk.
Excellent food but slow service, not very attentive.
Absolutely excellent food! The server did let us know they were out of bread when we first sat down at 8:00 p.m. and that was a bummer, but other than that, everything was 100% great. My wife and I truly enjoyed it and this was just one week after another place came highly suggested to us, and the other place was absolutely terrible. Since the same group referred this place, we went in with trepidation worried it would be mediocre. Mama DiSalvo's is the only other place we happen to like in Dayton and most of the rest are a let down. We ordered three different dishes including their honey hot pizza along with a bourbon cocktail and Tiramisu for dessert and everything was truly excellent. We'll be back soon!
This place us so underrated and spoke about. Solid food. Great people. Classy place.
