We typically order takeout from this restaurant and the food is consistently delicious, providing a flavorful meal every time. The portions are generous and always leave us feeling satisfied. The employees are always friendly and polite, and we have never had a bad experience at this location. I just left the restaurant and will not be returning. We started with drinks and the Bad Juan was nothing special. There were no fountain drinks, which we thought was strange. The food arrived quickly, but unfortunately, our usual dishes had no flavor. The salsa was bland and the Fajita Bowl was not good - the rice was cold and the onions and green peppers were burnt and purple. The chicken was cold and tasteless. My husband ordered a shredded beef super burrito, but it turned out to be shredded chicken and had a weird aftertaste. When the waitress asked how our meal was, we were honest. It was not busy, we could see the cook who showed no pride in food preparation and did not wear gloves. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we were not offered any solutions or apologies. We decided to pay the bill and go to the location on Marshal and Stroup, where we received excellent service from a new waitress and had delicious food. Thankfully, each location is owned by different people because we do enjoy Elsa's and Bad Juan's.

The food is delicious and the drinks are potent. The wait may be slightly long due to the limited number of servers, but it is definitely worth it.
I'm a life long Dayton resident and used to love Elsa's. I wish now the Sheetz was going in. The quality of food has gone so far downhill this was my last trip to Elsas. Tonight the refried beans were dry and totally inedible. I mean beans hit with a masher and nothing else. No flavoring. No seasoning. BLAND Nachos had no salsa or sauce of any kind. Chicken, cheese, and dry beans. Chicken had no flavoring, no seasoning. Plain chicken. It was awful. And happy hour? What a joke. .70 cents off drink prices? I'd rather spend my money at Taco Bell.
We didn't eat there because it smelled like sewage, and they looked very short-staffed.
