Amber Rose Restaurant & Catering

Cold weather in the dead of winter always makes us think Amber Rose ! Sauerkraut and wursts are always delicious and very apropo for the season! Chicken Kiev was good but not great, according to my fellow-diner. Always a good experience...a taste of Old North Dayton and its ethnic origins.

We have been looking for a local place to go to when we want to have a nice dining experience and this is it! With strong German traditions in our households, German food was a frequent flavor on our tables. I had yet to find any place that compared to the home cooking handed down by my great grandmother. The Amber Rose met and exceeded those expectations. The ambiance was very charming and Old World. From the China to the beer, to the Bier Cheese, and German Chocolate cake that melts in your mouth, this little Gem will have you coming back very, very soon

Excellent not too far from WPAFB. Will come back again when we're in the area.

Restaurant environment had a lot of Character. Ambiance was nice. Did not care for the food. I had pork schnitzel. Food was overcooked, very heavy and tough with not very much flavor. Seemed like the oil needed to be changed in the fryer. I did not care for the Sauerkraut either. Jazz Music was very nice.
