ArtHausRestaurant - Davos Platz

We had a 5 course gala dinner in this restaurant. Nice little place. The dinner took 4 hours. We had very slow service and a lot of waiting between the courses. Thus a lot of wine drinking. The quality of food was good. However the...Chef is mixing different styles in one dinner in a special way. The first courses unfortunately dont build up a nice harmony and prepare for the main course. The main course was an excellent steak. Sweet soup before the main course? This is like a painter mixing different styles in one painting trying to create a new style. Some may like it some not.

Went for dinner with 3 other people took the 4-course dinner. Food was very nice (though the sweet potato capuccino was a bit uninspired) and presentation mostly great. Unfortunately we were not alone in the dining room: there was one other group, of c.7-8...people. The kitchen found that difficult to handle guess they were understaffed? It meant we had to wait which is fine in good company but to give you an idea of what I mean: We sat down at 8pm... and finally got the bill after coffee at 11.30pm. The wine list is apparently very good; what was very disappointing was that when it came to catering to people who don't drink alcohol.... Coca-cola, sprite and rivella. This definitely needs to improve!! Rhababerschorle, Fritz-limo, gazosa.... We enjoyed it, and the server was very friendly and knowledgeable and it's good value for money. Just... slow.

Das Restaurant ist nicht sehr gross, aber eine sehr gute Atmosphäre. Sehr aufmerksame Bedienung, sie weiss, was sie serviert und wie es zubereitet ist.Die Menu Auswahl ist vielseitig und aussergewöhnliche Gerichte werden angeboten. Alle Gerichte waren wunderschön und kreativ angerichtet. Auch die Portionen waren genau richtig.

Ich habe das Hotel in der Zwischensaison besucht. Preis-Leistung sind sehr gut, das Haus ist sauber und das Frühstücksbüffet ist ausgezeichnet. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Das Gebäude ist nicht mehr das Jüngste. Entsprechend hat es den Charme eines "reifen" Gebäudes. Gerne wieder.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit künstlerischem Essen. Hier wird ganz klar der Spruch, das Auge isst mit, ausgelebt - toll. Wunderschöne Gerichte, die sehr gut schmecken und einfach einzigartig sind.
