Went here as a tourist and really enjoyed this authentic restaurant. Despite our lack of Spanish, the staff was very friendly and supportive. The steak was really good as well. View all feedback.
It was well cooked meat and had nice ingredients. What I actually loved was the iced tea that was amazing! it is red fruit flavored (Definitly will come back for this iced tea!
This restaurant is a terrible place to eat. My mission took forever to get it on our table. The order was removed at 2 o'clock. After 45 minutes waiting for my food, the server came to tell me that she ran out of beef steak that I ordered and offered another choice that I accepted and waited another 30 minutes for my other steak to make it my table. The entire waiting period was about one hour and 20 minutes. No excuse, nothing, and the food was MEDIOCRE. The steak was not boiled to the desired temperature. Too red for my taste. Inappropriate personnel for the number of customers. The worst, OVERPRICED food that I had in this country, without having friendly staff and not being attentive. I never wanted to ask us if everything was okay. What a demolition of this place. Don't waste your time and money. There is a gazillion restaurants out there that are much better than these.
Had an excellent meal here, portions were good, vegetables were perfectly cooked. The price was appropriate for the food received. Try the smoked cheese, it's very good.
It is what you expect and hope. We have dined there twice and enjoyed our meal. The service was good and the manager was friendly and helpful.
OMG, the food is incredible here! Fantastic juicy, smoky, delicate meat from the smoker, right in front of the restaurant. The steak from the grill was cooked to the desired temperature. This may seem obvious, but often, in other restaurants here, they do not seem to get it right. Great mixed vegetables, well fed and cooked, exactly right, soft and yet retain shape. Also the Cassava liked, as it was sufficiently blanched before frying, which led to crispy on the outside, soft inner texture that I love over properly prepared Cassava. So much better than IMHO. The problem is that often, they do not (sufficient) blanch the Cassava before they fry it so that hard, white powdery texture inside. Not here. I have the impression that the texture for the people who run this restaurant is very important, as the perfection that was displayed on the plate that I was given for a moderate price. The taste seemed as high on its scale as the aromas in the sauces supplemented the meat as regards the chicken. The same applies to her soured vegetables ( chicken stock and oignon and garlic, if I tasted the right, maybe some soy). Friendly and very patient waiter who helped us choose our food, enthusiastic young waitress who brought a homemade drink (and the very moderate check). I couldn't blame her if I tried. Even the AC was great, none of these super cold air blown into the neck or on your food. Right outside. It was perfect in every way.
