Visited the White Swan at Holcot several times with family and friends. We are always made welcome by the caring owners Hayley Martin competent smiling Hanna and the lovely local natives. Great pint of Guinness and good selection of beers, ciders, lagers, wines Spirits. A good village pub worth visiting.
The White Swan after a long period of decline has been hauled up by its bootstraps by its new owners. A good range of ales, well looked after Guinness, make this a little oasis, tucked away in the pretty village of Holcot. The Restaurant and improvements make this a pub to watch out for in the future
Having decided at the last minute to change our plans I was delighted the Henry was able to find us a table for two. From the minute Olly greeted us it was obvious we were in a delightful gastro pub and we extremely well looked after by Jasmine and a very charming waitress called Izzy. Good was fabulous-especially the glazed plum tart. Of course the venue is only part of a perfect evening and being in stunning company may well have influenced my goodwill! A fabulous evening which o hope to repeat very soon.
Liam and Ryan made my wife and I feel very welcome. Not everything was available on the menu due to being later in the evening but Ryan (the Manager/Chef) was able to create a special salad that was very tasty. Liam was very helpful at the bar and shared a similar humour to me and ended up chatting about our favourite TV comedies! All the best to you all at the White Swan and also to Ryan who is moving away to be with new family commitments. See you soon
