The sushi at this restaurant is simply superb! It's incredibly fresh and delicious. The added bonus of a DJ and the fantastic atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommended! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Krispy Tacos:
The food was good quality and well cooked, but a ridiculously small quantity for the price. The old menu was a great value, but the new limitations will stop me from dining here again. Neither the service nor the food warranted the final price. View all feedback.
We had the Miso soup, spicy tuna roll and tuna tataki salad which were all good. The Mongolian beef was overcooked by quite a bit, but the sauce was good. The service was very, very slow and inattentive. Multiple requests for water went ignored. The place was empty and I watched servers checking their phones while our table remained uncleared and our watt glasses empty. Would not return, too many other options at this price point.
We had been to this restaurant 3 4 times in the last two years. This will be probably the last, for a while. Great food, too bad the service can't match up to it. Extremely poor and seemingly uncaring server left us without forks for 1/2 hour while our food got cold. As it was Chinese New Year, we had pre ordered the Peking Duck $98), which required an extra phone call and email to confirm, prior to the date of the reservation. You'd think this would clue the waiter that we were serious clients of this restaurant but we were largely ignored, even though the restaraunt was nearly empty for the first 45 minutes we were there. The dish was supposed to contain duck cooked in three different ways, and they only served us the roasted duck. There was no excuse or even awareness from the waiter that the dish came without two key parts. We had to bring to his attention and then had to ask that it be discounted. We asked for Asian Miso style) ceramic spoons for the soup dumplings. They never came. The cocktails had little to no alcohol, pure filler and mixers. What we did eat was delicious to the kitchen is still good. They've also increased their prices on wine by something like 100%. They are charging $1,000 for Cristal not that we wanted that, but this isn't even that kind of place. It's no wonder the restaurant is empty maybe 6 tables out of 30) on a Saturday night of a typical Asian celebration. The waiter said happy hour was packed well no wonder, everything is 1/2 price. A restaurant can't survive on happy hour customers only. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and won't be going back anytime soon.
Nice staff, the manager and our waiter were giving a good service, taking care about the details like food temperature, etc. I really recommend to visit and enjoy the duck is Excellent option
I always come back for the food, but I didn't feel appreciated when we had to wait 30 minutes for a drink and the first course was already completed. Not my idea of a restaurant experience.
Tanuki was at the top of my list of restaurants to visit during my trip to Miami and it did not disappoint. This was my second time here and it was almost as great as I remember. Food and drinks are an easy 10/10, but last time I was here the happy hour was far better. The deals for the old happy hour were amazing and I would have came a second time on this trip if it was the same happy hour as my first time there. Either way I still absolutely love the food. My girlfriend and I consider Tanuki our favorite sushi spot of all time so it's a shame the happy hour deals aren't what they were when we fell in love with the place. We only ended up ordering one food item off the happy hour menu. The happy hour drink deals were very good though. Each was $10 which was a good deal because they were all very good. Hopefully the happy hour is better next time we visit Miami.
