I went a couple times to the restaurant and I can tell you that the Pizza is one of the best that I ate in Darmstadt, even more in Germany, the size is good and it have lot of ingredients, however the pasta is not tht good, I think it is like normal, not bad, but you can find better Pasta in other restaurants from Darmstadt. What Peggy Schütze doesn't like about Europa:
My bf and I decided to try our luck at Europa's "biergarten" with no reservation early on a Friday night and we found a table with no problem. Nothing special. It's good considering the average in the area but definitely nothing more. Similar level to Vapiano..

Excellent pizza, better than the majority of the pizza's you could eat in Italy. No doubt about it. Friendly service. The rest of the menu I wouldn't suggest.
Went there on a Friday night - please call ahead as this place tends to get crowded - and did not spend too much time with the menu as this place is famous for its pizza. What should I say - you can see the preparation in the wooden oven life, and, the pizza really tastes fabulous and tasty...like in Italy. So check this out next time!
Was there today, on a Friday evening at the end of January without reservation. We were 2 people and luckily enough to get a table. It was over-crowded. We were served the menu card after 10 min. Our wine came in 10 more min after placing the order and we had to wait for nearly 1 hour for the main food. Yes, 1 hour for a sea-food spaghetti and a pizza. It looked like a family run restaurant which had severe shortage of staff. An elderly gentleman and a woman were taking the orders and serving the food. A stout guy making the pizzas and I think 2 persons in the kitchen. The fact that you can come in and order pizzas to be taken-away increased the serving time for the guests sitting there. So as someone else has already posted, if you order pizza over phone it can take 1 - 1.5 hrs and now I know why this is so.The pizza was good, think crust and wood-oven baked. The pasta (spaghetti) was ok. The house-made Italian wine was sour in taste, nothing great.I wouldn't recommend going there on a weekend.
