We both ordered chicken and leek pie and chips. With tea for 2 Nice cup of tea . But pie was pale and looked very unappetising and was tasteless.Chips were also tasteless . Certainly not worth the money View all feedback.
Stayed very near here in a recent holiday and enjoyed the first class full English breakfasts (with quality sausages, which can make or break a brekkie), plus some great steak pies, deserts, etc. Excellent value for money.
Popped in for a dinner mid week. Had full English and Bacon,Mozzarella and Mushroom toastie. With coffee. All excellent and quick service. Definitely go again
Disappointed , i had just been served no please or thank you from staff at till, quite abrupt they just talked to each while serving me. I sat down and was telling my husband they are not at all friendly when another family sat near us were brought their order they said there was something missing from their order, staff member was not happy and said i will look at order then came back again very rude saying that this was not written on the order and had not been charged so if they wanted it they would have to pay, the family looked really embarrassed as was everyone else that could hear,. It was not there fault this wasn't written on order it was staff at till, if they weren't so busy talking to each other while they are serving customers they might get the order right in the first place! Was not good customer service.
We popped in for coffee, while shopping. The coffee was very nice, and I had the best scones I have had in a long time. So light and fluffy! I will have to return again soon just to enjoy another!
I went to this restaurant for a quick lunch. The children's meals were reasonably priced, but the sausages were overcooked. The chips were good, and the paninis were tasty, although a bit expensive for the portion size. The coleslaw had too much sauce, and the salad was basically just dressing with one piece of lettuce and two tomatoes. It was a bit disappointing. The tables were not very clean and took a while to clear, possibly because it was busy.
