The Food here is fresh the flavors are DIFFERENT! I absolutely love it. If your looking for something other than the average Philly takeout EAT HERE!!!! The Yucca bread was delicious, my rice bowl was way more than I expected. I'm gonna try something new every visit until I've tried everything on their menu!! View all feedback.
What Bianca T doesn't like about Rustika Pollo A La Brasa:
Tried this place for the first time. We ordered via UberEats and when we got the order we were missing our 1/4 chicken and chicken fried rice. My bf had the chicken tacos which were okay, until he found a huge bone in the taco. Luckily, it was a huge bone that he caught otherwise he might have missed it and potentially choke. When you’re paying this much for food, you expect it to be delicious. Very disappointed. View all feedback.
You would miss this spot if you didn't know. Now I'm going to put you on. GO HERE!! Ghost restaurant down the Bottom (Mantua if you not from Philly) and delicious... seriously delicious food. I got the chicken tacos and the bowl. Tacos are tacos they were delicious and enjoyable but this chicken bowl yo! Radishes aren't something I normally eat, I see them as decoration but add them to this marinated chicken with rice, corn and idk want that sauce is but yaaasss and those crunchy blanched string beans. I'm coming back. They open late night and I will try something else. I randomly hit them when the Indian place wasn't open and I was starving. I will certainly go back and tell others

Their empanadas, pan de bono, and fries are bangin'. I want to try more of their menu, but those are so good that I just can't NOT get them.
RAW CHICKEN I 've ordered from here a number of times. It 's not the best food but it 's a healthier option than most. Every order after my very first one has had an issue; no utensils, missing sauce, wrong sauce, stingy portions, can be pricey. Nothing that i would deem cancel worthy, just annoying; until now. Yesterday i ordered 2 of their chicken bowls w/ dark meat (BOGO FREE on ubereats) and first thing i noticed is they didn 't put any beans in my bowl. I 'm annoyed right away bc i actually like their beans. Irritated, i eat anyway. I 'm digging in and by this point I 've eaten the whole drumstick when i realize the chicken is just super chewy. All i was thinking was that this can 't be raw...i will be PISSED if this is raw...i just ingested half of it! I turn the remaining chicken thigh over and sure enough it 's PINK! RAW! GROSSLY UNDERCOOKED. I then examine my drumstick bone more closely and of course it was pink as well! So then! I decide to check the other bowl. Maybe it was an honest mistake....so chance number 2...fam! That was pink too!! Food temp should be a concern of anyone in the restaurant business, but you 're restaurant literally has chicken in it 's name! And y 'all can 't COOK chicken?? And rotisserie!! You literally put it on a spindle and leave it until done! After this experience I 'm going to go ahead and give 1 star with the knowledge that i, unfortunately, can 't give 0 stars. I can be quite patient bc I 'm just a decent human being, a lot of new restaurants people are rotating through staff like crazy; but RAW chicken!! That I ate?! No. 0 Stars. Would NEVER recommend. If asked I will DEFINITELY share my RAW CHICKEN episode. It 's a BIG FAT NO!! I wouldn 't order from here AT ALL! But especially if you 're pregnant or prone to food poisoning. Pics attached so you can see. Boston Market, while relatively mediocre, has never sold me RAW chicken, just grab a chicken from there and make your own sides, you 'll spend far less money and have the guarantee of cooked food.
I ordered on Uber eats and the rice was the most awful tasting yellow rice I have ever had. Who is cooking this rice? This is not at all Latino food or Peruvian to be exact. And I am from Latin America! Secondly, and the whole reason I am writing this review; the beans, firstly are smallest portion, the tiny bin wasn’t even full and they tasted awful. Under cooked, flavor less, with random pieces of sweet potatoes and bacon that made the taste more like sweeter American style baked beans. Please hire some Latinos to cook this food. I am beyond shocked that you would sell these rice and beans to people.
