This is a large restaurant, but we were lucky enough to be seated in the smaller, more intimate room. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was great. We had the fish and the sweetbreads as well as the mussels appetizer. The sauces were all amazing and the desserts were....out of this world! Dietary restrictions: As things are made in-house, they can surely adjust for dietary restrictions. View all feedback.
What GREG BECKER doesn't like about Dante Luigi's:
The website advertises a full bar (see photo); I figured I could stop by after the dinner rush hour and grab a seat at the bar. Upon arrival I was informed no such bar exists and furthermore, reservations are required at least three weeks in advance. If your food is that great either raise your prices or expand. One star is all you get Dante and Luigi. View all feedback.
Just when you are starting to despair about all of the places to eat being the same, salvation happens when you come here. This is an authentic, charming, old school Italian restaurant in a wonderfully timeless and classy setting. The food was excellent. The service was even better great to experience top drawer table service.
My wife and i went here for our 5th year anniversary because she loves Italian but never had authentic like this. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was the best Italian my wife and I ever had. The staff was professional and courteous and the prices are amazing for the quality of the dishes. Seriously, when we got the check I had to do a double take because it was way less than I expected for the quality, portions, and service we were provided. Even the atmosphere was old school and fit the theme and the wine selections are great too. I will be telling whoever I can about this place and my wife and I will definitely be returning.
Too many items to list, all delicious, all expertly served. We’ve found our new Italian restaurant. Couldn’t be happier.
Lovely restaurant that hasn't lost its charm since opening in 1899! Great service for a group of 8 people.
Can't rave enough about the food. Calamari app with long hots was fantastic. Lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. My wife had the manicotti and I had the carbinara. Best meal we have had in a long time. We will be back.
