The door was closed, so we starve! good place if they don't eat food! it was closed!
We chose cue to dinner before a game in pioneer playhouse based on good online reviews. the food was good, but unfortunately the service was really terrible. we arrived immediately for our 7:00 reservation and it was 7:20 before we received our drinks. Fifteen minutes later our salate and twenty-five minutes later came, our escape. until then it was 8:00, so we had to hurry through our meal to make the performance at 8:30. I had the Korma court and my man had the fish and chips. we share a deconstructed keilsalat, but I am not sure why it was called that, as it only chopped romaine, tomaten, speck and blue cheese dressing all mixed. in any case, we were disappointed at our overall experience, and I doubt that we will be back.
Menu not as published. rework server. very loud air conditioning. server was gracious.
Eating is very good, but the service is not. we were there three times, we didn't get what we ordered on each one. ordered the Burger-Mahl and received no fries or chips with it. only a burger on a teller. ordered suppe at a later visit and never received the suppe. had not received any refill on our drinks. have ordered the cat three times and it has never come with the tarter sauce, as indicated on the menu. no sauce. if they see their server when entering from the front smoking was also not attractive. I'm usually not so critical, but three strikes with this restaurant.
This was a great local, historic restaurant with a quaint atmosphere. The menu was ample from simple to daring. I had the stuffed pork chop and it was very good. Loved reading about the history of the place. If I lived near there I would go here more often.
