We were worried at first about eating outside but it ended up being perfect. Not being from Dallas , we were able to enjoy the sights. Christian and staff took excellent care of us and our meals were amazing! Thank you! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Stk Dallas:
while eating was delicious (ribeye, filet, kartoffeln, mac n cheese, cocktails,) I never had to speak as loud as I was eating. the music was too loud for my pleasure. the genre of the music was perhaps not my favorite, but the beat reverberated all the time. the mood was still pretty. they will not be incomplete party. 3/4 of us were there while the other was parking and when they came there they gave us a summer to... Great experience. great food. a little louder than we thought it was but hey, it was the dreaming, so no big problem.
Quality of food did not match the expectation. Preparation of filet was way off. Medium rare but chef cooked for one minute, vary rare. Came back with correct temperature but not juicy. Expect more from chef for a $60 6oz filet. Taste was ok. Sea bass was good but lacking flavor. Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes were excellent! Checked in and hostess recognized my wife’s birthday. Sometimes a fine dining restaurant may offer a small dessert. Not mentioned at the table. Bob’s, Al Biernat’s, Ruth’s Chris many levels better.
This is definitely a place that is overrated. My husband and I were excited to check it out, in hindsight I regret booking here for such a special occasion because my husband and I were very dissatisfied with the food and the service. We were celebrating his 40th birthday, don't expect to receive anything special. For starters the seat we were given was right in the middle of all of the chaos i.e. all the other tables around us. We were so close if someone bent over they would hit us, the table was extremely small, maybe 3 feet long. The food is absolutely OVERPRICED for the taste!!! My husband and I have dined at some of the finest in Dallas and had high hopes just to be completely let down. I've never been to restaurant where I was charged 9.00 for bottled water, 12.00 EACH for truffle butter and that was suggested as if that was complimentary, NOPE you pay for it. My husband had the lamb rack, which was unseasonsoned the lamb at Kitchen and Kocktails is 10 times better. I had the steak and requested medium well and it was medium rare. We had the crispy Brussel sprouts that weren't crispy and I've had better at Tupelo Honey and Town Hearth. For the additional side we had the tator tots, bleh, the inside of it tasted like instant mashed potatoes! When I tell you for the taste and quality to be this and the bill was $256.00. Let me encourage you, stick with Nick and Sam's or Dakotas. Not to mention the service, the quality of service that WE received was like the level of Chuck e. Cheese. We were only checked on to order our food and when it was time to get our ticket. The energy was just OK, just not top notch and doesn't match the dollar. It is VERY loud in this restaurant, my husband and I were at little 3 foot table and had to scream in order for us to hear one another. Take your risk and visit at least once, but it won't be a go to for us.

The food was fantastic. The service was abominable. Had to wait 45 min for drinks. Need to hire more wait staff or decrease the reservations
