to eat the first time in meso maya. found an article online in which it had one of the best quesos in dfw, so made the 30-minute drive to try it. the restaurant is very beautiful. we had a reservation and sat right away. the chips and salsa are very tasty and the queso is average. it is not one of the best in the opposite. eating itself was good, with the enchiladas is one of the best queso enchiladas around. the arr... What User doesn't like about Meso Maya Preston Forest:
Meso Maya is a decent spot for Tex-Mex cuisine. The food is consistent, though not outstanding. Unfortunately, yesterday we were let down because, despite the restaurant not being busy, our waiter was inattentive. Our dishes were served lukewarm. View all feedback.
We had great time. The food was good and our server was very tentative and personable.
Food is always good, the service is prompt and courteous, and it's quiet enough to actually have a conversation with your companions.
The food has always been good, but being so noisy this time, I guess by waiter did not hear me on what I ordered and my quesadilla did not have chicken in it. It also took a long long time to get my cocktail. We asked for an extra glass of water and we ended up walking up and get it ourselves because it took so long. overall, I have always enjoyed the restaurant and will probably come back again.
We have dined there many times. Biden Azteca Pollo is excellent as was the chicken salad our guest ordered. Unfortunately the servers were very inattentive. Overall a poor experience tonight.
Restaurant was 20% full so we had plenty of seating options. Server was very friendly and attentive. Food was fine, nothing special but not good enough for me to want to go back given all the Mexican options available.
