Completely awful. We had dinner Sunday night and the place was empty. The server never asked us for drinks, we had to ask her. I used to be in the restaurant and I really enjoyed myself, but this visit was completely different. Our waitress was very slow to take our order and bring our food. Surprising how long it took so much as we were there very early before the masses showed up. One of the courts had to be sent back twice because it was wrong. It felt like we had an effort to leave the restaurant and go somewhere else.
Completely awful. We had dinner Sunday night and the place was empty. The server never asked us for drinks, we had to ask her. She was not around, so we had to wait for everything. One menu smelled of dirty dish water, another menu was missing half of the menu, and another menu was completely empty. 4 people shared one menu. The floor was sticky, as if it needed to be mopped and cleaned. The food was not good. The halibut was overcooked. It was dry and chewy. The polenta cake (in the mole dish) was extremely dry and tasteless. This visit, our first one there, was completely awful and not worth the $80 that we spent.
Food was ok. Subpar for the prices. The real tragedy was the VIP service offered. As we were dancing, they moved our belongings to make more room for another group, cutting off the space for our party that we paid for. Beyond that, the amount of people they allow in is mind-boggling. No one is checking maximum capacity, and the place becomes dangerously crowded while the manager shows no concern for the safety of his patrons.
New Year Eve is a strange time in which restaurants operate from the norm. So I can forgive the falling eggs here. We had a reservation of 8:00. Since the place was practically empty when we arrived, I did not tell the host that we had reservations until he went to a table. When I told him, he stopped leading us to a table and asked us to wait. He spoke to another host who shook her head “No”. Then she came by and said that they were completely sold out and began to declare that the manager should have closed the reservation system. She dragged the hem as if she wanted to ask us to go and then finally said if you can end at 9 we can put you. Why were they willing to put us without reservation and then had problems when they learned that we had a reservation? Weird. We ordered an appetizer and two nets. The Mains were quickly released. But they totally missed the appetizers. Food and drinks were good. Only the poor organization has the celebration of annoying start.
I was told that I had never made reservations after I was in touch with my party for over an hour, and I decided to just go and go somewhere else. My birthday was ruined
