Nothing not to like for us here. Wonderful country pub in one of the most scenic villages in the Chilterns. Photogenic on the outside, spacious and comfortable inside (tables are very well spaced). On a sunny day why not sit outside either at the front overlooking the village pond or in the garden at the back. I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. It felt more like fast food with a quick turnaround and lack of real service. The roast beef was overcooked and lacking in gravy. For dessert, I tried their 'special' chocolate cheesecake, which was completely spoiled and had a nauseating smell. When we informed the staff about it, they promptly took it away but did not offer any alternative or apologize... View all feedback.
