Nothing not to like for us here. Wonderful country pub in one of the most scenic villages in the Chilterns. Photogenic on the outside, spacious and comfortable inside (tables are very well spaced). On a sunny day why not sit outside either at the front overlooking the village pond or in the garden at the back. What User doesn't like about The Greyhound Inn:
I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. It felt more like fast food with a quick turnaround and lack of real service. The roast beef was overcooked and lacking in gravy. For dessert, I tried their 'special' chocolate cheesecake, which was completely spoiled and had a nauseating smell. When we informed the staff about it, they promptly took it away but did not offer any alternative or apologize... View all feedback.
Stopped here after a long walk, the food was really good, there was a bit of delay as they were very busy but the service was friendly.

We shared the Traditional ploughman's platter which was stacked with ham, cheese, pate and accompaniments. The asian chicken side is delicious.Thoroughly recommend.
Amzing place fantastic eating the best ham, harrow and chips that they can eat personal is beautiful and friendly recommend to always visit
The best place to be on Saturday night. the menu has traditional and adventurous offers that are served quickly and in generous portions. the desserts are excellent, again generous and always served with a smile. I have eaten several times here and never left. aldbury is a charming village and this pub adds a lot to the character of the place. it is the dedication of the staff that is worth the experience here.
My family, including our daughter and small dog, had a wonderful stay at this lovely holiday home. Tim and his team at the Greyhound Inn were extremely welcoming and served us a fantastic evening meal that would rival any Michelin-starred gastropub. Thank you to everyone, we will definitely be coming back!
