What erin ryan doesn't like about Curtis Famous Weiners:
We always make it a point to eat here whenever we're in the area, although the last time was seven years ago, so I imagine a lot has changed. Unfortunately, you can no longer dine inside, as they seem to have never reopened after COVID. They do have a hotdog stand, but we decided to take our food for a picnic at Constitution Park instead. I was disappointed to discover they no longer have my favorite soda, Cherry Sma... View all feedback.
This place is historical. I loved it since childhood. It's a must to try when you're in the area. Give me three. Unfortunately, I moved away from the area 30 years ago, but occasionally I just have to have one of these hot dogs... so yes, I drove 75 miles for some hot dogs.
Great Weiner! Bun was perfectly soft, toppings were spectacular. Will def go back. Two loaded weiners and a soda for $7. Make sure you bring cash, they don't take credit.
Amazing! Absolute treat we stumbled across when in Cumberland cycling the GAP. Had a weiner to go and it was the best thing we have eaten all trip so far!
Can’t beat the friendliness and tastiness of this spot! I popped in tonight on a whim as I was driving by on the highway and learning the spot is 103 years old when I was greeted at the little window was an awesome fun fact. The hotdogs and sauce were awesome, plus the accompanying chocolate milk made it all the much better. A must try if you’re driving by the area!
Gotta stop here when going through Cumberland! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
