Uncle Elder's Family - Culpeper

This place was quite good to food and the environment. The staff was small, but friendly. The building was old and has a unique history. The food met my expectations and lets me come back. The service was friendly and cared for my family and me. The only retreat is that it took to get the food. There were only a few other customers while we were there, but for a BBQ place where the food has been cooking for hours should be able to squeeze food from the kitchen quite quickly. But I'll say I'd wait for it because it was so good. Make sure to try the grain bread.

Literally the best pulled pork sandwich I ever had. It is both a shame and a blessing I visit in Culpeper, Virginia, because I knew so short that I had the best lunch I could have, but that won't be able to have for a while. The staff was very courteous, friendly and I could not recommend this to anyone who crosses Culpeper. Can't go wrong with the pulled pork sandwich!!

Brisket Sandwich was great! The Pommes were perfect. Make sure you get a ranch whatever it is in it is magical. The staff was friendly and the food was served immediately. We will definitely come back!

This is a jewel of Culpeper. Really good BBQ Brisket, BBQ pork, Hushpuppies, Masher potatoes, bakers... The exterior seats are available. Service is friendly. Park over the street in the large parking lot. Once you're finished eating, you're in a good place to go to the city.

Ate here twice in mid-July 2020 and found it amazing. I went in late in the evening and the person at the counter was straight with what they had left that day. I ordered the brisket sandwich on both trips and was very impressed with the presentation, speed of service, flavor, texture, and tenderness of the meat. Absolutely delicious.
