We were there for lunch (not an overnight stay). Very friendly and sociable service regarding general information but also information about the food. Food was very good. Sat inside, nice outside area no through traffic. Located close to the bridge. View all feedback.
What Birststrasse doesn't like about Auberge du Pont-Canal:
The menu at l'Auberge is probably as french as it can get with many classics, Tournedos Rossini, Foie Gras, Snails, Frog Legs etc. The food is solid but there is certainly room for improvements, the stem cabbage served was really hard, almost wooden. View all feedback.
During a weekend sojourn aboard our barge here, we enjoyed two extremely pleasant meals. Even though our French was limited, the staff went out of their way to assist. All in all, lovely food and we will return next year.

Very helpful and attentive staff. We ate a very good couscous. Good value for money with a spacious room. Ideal for a cycle route stopover on the Briare canal, I recommend.

Un week-end Midi Cadre très sympathique avec une terrasse bord du canal et vue sur le pont. Personnel avenant et très courtois et attentif. Cuisine moyenne et un peu chère tout compte fait car portions réduites et choix limité.Pas de formule . Pour ma part je trouve les couscous intéressant si il fait froid .Mais en été je suis réservé . Manque peu de chose pour être bien .
