Taqueria El Greco is a tiny, hole-in-the-wall gem where patience is rewarded with exceptional taco flavors. While the wait for service might be a bit lengthy, the delicious taste of the tacos more than makes up for it. This small taquería proves that good things often come in small packages, offering a satisfying culinary experience for taco enthusiasts. View all feedback.
So good. The line of locals didn’t lie. Spectacularly awful buskers on the corner added to the fun. Try it, you’ll be happy.
Tacos al pastor its´s a Mexican, particulary from Puebla version of Greek and turkish Doneraki, but instead of lamb, are cooked with pork, and slides of pineapple. Founded more than 40 years ago, in the heart of Condesa,in Mex. City, in Michoacan street, by Esperanza Bank de Toiler, a lovely lady who developed the restaurant in a legend. When she passed away, Miguel Toiber Bank, her son continues this gastronomic tradition. Juan Ibanez, a great theatre and film director, founder of Perro Andalus an Edad de Oro as tribute to his friend Luis Buñuel he discover this restauran for me, several years ago..part of the food tradition in Mexico City.
Amazing and worth it if there is a wait (not always and not long). Get the Donerasky meat on pan árabe for tacos or gringas. Really good hot salsas.
Una maravilla de lugar, no dudéis en preguntar al mesero por la historia de la taquería. Excelente pan de pita.
