We like supporting both Pizza joints in town, they both have their own thing going on...specialties. This place has killer pie....when I'm in the mood for some old school cheese, pepperoni, veggie, etc Pizza...this is my first choice. Servers are very sweet folks also! View all feedback.
What Ben B doesn't like about Sal's Pizza:
Why does this keep happening? ? Local pizza joints are just not good. Non-existent service with an excuse for everything, bad food, cramped, smoky interior, dirty bathrooms and floors... and pricey!! There is pretty much nothing good to say about this place. Do yourself a favor and just pick up a frozen pizza; it'll be MUCH cheaper, taste better, and be a more comfortable environment. Sal's has great pizza and a friendly staff. Easy to overlook but you should not. Ownership is very friendly and the pizza is great.
Over an hour wait for one baked ziti and a plate of buttered spaghetti. Servers were not attentive.
The staff was amazing! I will get names the next time I go in. My onion rings were extra crispy and the chicken parme on homemade bread was delicious!
I don't know Sal but I did meet Tiz. She went above and beyond to make all of us feel welcome and like family. Sal's might look like your average pizza place, but the service at the family owned/run business is far above average, for sure. Thanks for a great time, Tiz!
So again I rate Italian by two things creme brûlée and chicken Marsala, in my opinion you have to know how to cook with the Marsala wine to get it right and Tiz and family gets it right every time. And the pizza well the sauce is just right unlike the competition a few steps down the road you will get someone to greet you take your order and come see you with a check so leave your phones at homeSals is a local family joint so come support
