Had a great time here as a couple. The food was fantastic, fast and delicious. I especially liked the scallops and the OXE tongue. The beer selection was great - all from Japan. The main guys on the staff were great - very friendly and friendly. I intend to come back with a few friends and enter a real dent in the beverage menu, which had a large selection of Japanese whiskey and Sochu. View all feedback.
What Jacky Kerluke doesn't like about Yakitori Yurippi:
The worst Japanese food we have ever had. A table booked and arrived punctually, the waitress showed us the table, we immediately walk a big cockroach on the table. Cosy place with real Japanese yakitori style joint.
What a great little find! Brought a party of 7 here for my partner's birthday and we all had a lively and lovely time. Our waiter was very attentive, explaining that we had to order by 8:30pm to avoid kitchen close and suggesting we order everything we needed in one go. The menu was a little confusing due to how the restaurant operates but our waiter gave us a suggested guide to ordering which worked well. Once we had ordered, all the food came to us so quickly and it was delicious! There were some interesting dishes the raw wasabi octopus was definitely a new experience! The only improvement could be a clearer explanation of which dish was what, as we had a lot of food and weren't quite sure what dish was what sometimes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was definitely a standout, fast paced and vibrant. Combined with an extensive bar, this was an entertaining and lively evening and I would definitely recommend Yakitori Yurippi to the adventurous and energetic diner. 5 stars
Wonderful food! Like I am in Japan now, most of the customers are Japanese!
Made a dinner booking and confirmed a day earlier however when we got there we found out the restaurant was closed on Thursday!!
