eating here was very good. the portions were generous and all with me were satisfied with their order. the waitress and hostess was especially nice to my 2 year old daughter to make sure she had activities and goodies to keep them entertaining. they also worked with her, which she had lighted. it was hearty and made our visit so much more pleasant. Food was ok, my eggs were kind of rubbery and hubby's food was tepid. Other than that, was your basics. There is no contact tracing list however and they automatically bring you peanut butter and a jam of their choice. I am not sure of their behind the scenes practice but this seems wasteful and unsanitary. They also bring you a dish full of cream and sugar for coffee and we take our coffee black. The food, the service everything was top notch. I can't recall a time where my husband used the words great meal great value in the same sentence. He had the Prime Rib, this day age it's hard to find a GREAT Prime Rib meal, the meat was exactly what he ordered the garlic mashed potatoes were to die for I couldn't stop stealing a mouthful every chance I had. I had an amazing special burger with 3 types of cheese and a cheese crisp on top with bacon very tasty filling with a side of the best tasting tomato soup I have ever had, the roasted tomatoes had so much flavor. We decided on a piece of peach pie ice cream to take home and share and even that was over the top with flavor. We did not get our waitresses name but she was super friendly not overly pushy and was always there when we needed, and she was very knowledgeable about the menu.We can't wait to come back we will share with everyone we know to stop at the best restaurant in Creston.

I haven't been here for lunch before and the breakfasts weren't great in the past. My family recommended I give it another chance and I am so thankful they did.Have you tried this grilled cheese sandwich?!?! Wow. It is sooo gooey and crisp it crackles when you bite into it, I ordered mine with the tomato basil soup and it was the perfect pairing.... Just thinking about the experience and writing this review is making me drool.
